i have a relatively new ibook (purchased sep 2004) with all the updates.
yesterday i paid full price for the britannica 2005 ultimate reference suite for pc and macs (dvd edition).
but i tried to install and nothing happens.
i click on the install icon in the mac osx folder. The icon britannica does the little bouncing thing on the dock and then disappears. nothing happens. grrr.
ok here is what i have done so far:
restart my ibook
popped the dvd into my sisters windows XP and it does load up the install screen right alway.
empty trash
check for new updates
check britannica webpage for FAQ and patches
played dvd (movie) on ibook, so i think the dvd part of the hardware is working fine.
nothing has resolved the issue.
if there is anything you can help with it would be much apperciated.
