My new Powerbook should be here next week. I am fairly new to Mac's and have only owned my PB TI800Mhz for almost a year. Is there some easy way to move my data to my new PB when it arrives? I have a external drive, but backing up to it, the restoring on my new PB seems a little old fashioned. Is there a program I am missing that will just allow an easy transfer?

Your new Mac will offer to transfer files and settings from your Mac when you set it up for the first time.

To do this, you'll need a Firewire cable to plug between the two Macs, and start your old Mac in Firewire Target Disk mode (see How to use Firewire Target Disk Mode for more information).
