So there is another one. This time especially for Web-Deisgners. But: Do we realle need another one?

http://www.sunrisebrowser.com/

We have (mainstream):

Camino
Firefox
iCab
Internet Explorer
Mozilla
Netscape
OmniWeb
Opera
Safari
Shiira

And some more exotic:

BumperCar
Cyberdog
DesktopBrowser
Dillo
eWorld Browser
Grail
HazIce
iBrowser
KidsBrowser
KioskBrowser
Lynx
MacWWW
Mosaic
Nagara
Privoxy
Trailblazer
WaMCom
Webstractor
wDesk
wKids
wKiosk

Now you can add Sunrise to the list.

Did I miss one? I think choice is good, but... 32 browsers?? =-o
Scarcely pausing for breath, Vroomfondel shouted, "We DON'T demand solid facts! What we demand is the total ABSENCE of solid facts. I demand that I may or may not be Vroomfondel!"

If there wasn't a need for new browsers, then people wouldn't make them. Don't use it if you don't want to. No one's forcing you.

If every single browser you listed used a different rendering engine, then I can see the argument that it makes it more difficult to test for compatibility. But a lot of them, including SunriseBrowser, use WebKit, so that's not an issue.

And it looks like SunriseBrowser has some innovative new ideas. The good news for Firefox users is that if these ideas pan out, extensions can easily be made to implement the same features in Firefox.
