Without violating one's NDA, does anyone know which Haxies will/won’t work with Tiger?

I think your best bet for a response is to ask the developers of the haxies themselves. I'm sure they got their hands on tiger and are working to update their apps so they would know best. You can always just wait until Tiger comes out and try them yourself but I would be very careful doing this.

Good idea, thanks!

I just emailed Unsanity suggesting they publish such data. Should I hear from them, I'll post their reply.

You can probably expect them to announce it once Tiger is released.

Yes, all of the commercial Unsanity haxies are planned to be Tiger-compatible. We might not get 'em done on the day that Tiger is released (Apple makes such planning difficult), but if not, they'll be available soon afterwards.

Good info, much appreciated and indeed reassuring to know that Unsanity is on top of things.

But my concern is not so much with the issue of Haxies being compatible per-se (I really should have been more precise-sorry). I am most concerned with a Haxie being incompatible--somehow causing a KP or other anomalous behavior and then trying to identify the genesis of the problem.

Were Unsanity, or that that matter, Allume, M$, Symantec, etc. to advise what conflicts their software presented, then migrating to Tiger would be a bit smother.

I think that the current version of APE simply refuses to run on Tiger. So if you were to update a machine that had installed haxies on it to Tiger, they would just cleanly do nothing at all until you've updated the haxie in question. It'd be as if they weren't even installed.

I'm not 100% positive about this, but I'm pretty sure that that's the dealio, yo. We tend to be pretty thoughtful about future-proofing our stuff.

But that all developers were that responsive.

Thanks again!
