hi,
i m a newbie who just switch from pc to mac.

[problem]
the system prompts me that 'an unexpected error occured while installing AdobeMingStd-Light-Acro.otf 1008:17,-9' when it is installing the photoshop cs.

*i have copied the whole cd to my desktop and install it from desktop.

may i know how to solve it?

Have you tried simply installing straight from the CD? Some CDs have invisible files that won't be copied when you think you are making a copy of everything on the desktop.

yes, i did try to install directly from the CD but i gave me the same problem

Which Mac have you got, and what version of Mac OS X?

(you can check your version by going to the Apple menu > About this Mac)

mine is mac mini 1.42GB, 256MB, 80GB HDD, mac osx 10.3.8
