I bought "All For Me Grog" by Liam Clancy off the Irish Pub Songs album. At 1:59 there is a pop. There are two more lesser pops in the following 20 seconds. Its not horrible, but it is annoying. I'm using two pretty nice M-Audio speakers. I filed I trouble ticket with Apple and they wrote back saying I should buy it again, so I bought it again and there is the pop in the exact same place. So, if you have an extra 99 cents to spare; can you buy it and tell me whether or not I'm insane?

Thanks,
Luke Chastain

There was a problem with a song you bought and Apple support's response was to tell you to buy it again?

Man, that sucks.

Well they said my account would be credited, but I don't see any evidence of that. Currently I have around $150 in certificates that number did decrease with the second purchase. I bought it for the second time on Saturday so I suppose the receipt for it will show up tomorrow.

I be absolutely clear, here is the quote: "... There may have been an issue with your initial download so we have reauthorized your account to download this selection again, without additional charge. ..."

It's Apple's new copy protection. No one wants to copy poorly encoded music!

(Meanwhile, I can get a wonderful DRM-less 320 kb/sec rip right off the CD at Allofmp3.com for 20.)
