Here's the dealio and I'm hoping someone here can help me out:
I have acquired a DVD file and it's on my computer in the form of an .ISO. Inside the .ISO is the VIDEO_TS folder as well as the AUDIO_TS folder. I was wondering how I could burn this onto a DVD that would run on my computer as well as on my DVD player (NTSC). I've tried using Roxio Toast on a previous DVD, but that did not give me the full DVD with menu and all, but rather the video segments split up according to the .VOB files.
So, can someone tell me how I would burn this whole thing so that it functions like a normal DVD (with menus, chapters, extras)?
Much appreciated

in toast did you go to copy, then in the drawer choose image, then drag the image into toast and click burn?
if you did that and it did not work, then i am clueless, because that _should_ have worked just fine.

It's all dependent on the iso file and how it was processed/ripped. It will only function as a normal DVD with menus, chapters, etc if it had them to begin with. Maybe your DVD file contains only the movie. You can test this by mounting the iso file and playing it with DVD Player (via File > Open VIDEO_TS Folder). What you see with DVD player is what you'll get if you burn it.
Next, make sure the iso is not larger than 4.7 GB (unless you have a dual-layer dvd burner). If you need to compress it, search the forums for tips with using Popcorn or DVD2One.
Lastly, to burn it, follow mdc's post.
