i found a nice [tho' flawed] wee app that allows you to find cover art for albums in itunes, which i'm currently playing with, instead of doing some real work [as usual!]

one question tho' :

i'm associating artwork with an album by selecting the album in itunes browser window and then dragging the pic into the 'drag album artwork here' pane. now some of my albums aren't complete. if i later add the missing tracks into that album in itunes, will they automatically take on the artwork associated with that album, or will i have to set the artwork manually for each new track i add?

[i suspect the latter, but live in the eternal optimism that one day someone will design a programme to work the way i do!]

You'll have to set the artwork manually unless it's the same as the album art to begin with.

oh well - i feared as much!

if only apple had devoted the extra programming hours to including useful features such as that, instead of that f**king irritating code which rewrites what i'm typing in the track info window!
