Hiya..

A mate keeps sending me an invite to view their webcam, but I cant view it because of my MSN version... is there a version out there that lets me view their webcam or is it not possible on mac?

Not that I'm aware of.

Your friend can use Yahoo! Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger and you should be able to video conference using Yahoo! Messenger or iChat respectively (Yahoo! without sound though).

I would love it if someone could help me get an AIM to iChat video chat to work. I have tried many times with no luck. I am using 10.3.8 and the newest isight update, and the PC user has tried with AIM 5.5 and with AOL 9. Anyway, if you have a PC and want to help IM me at Svenson27 thanks in advance. Also, yahoo messenger sucks for video.

MercuryMessenger, an MSN Messenger clone, has partial webcam support. It's still in beta, but apparently it works (only for receiving webcam feeds at the moment). Give it a try.
