I just downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird to be used with my gmail account but I have a question about creating an account on Thunderbird. When it asks for my incoming and outgoing servers, I have to choose between POP and IMAP. Which of these do I choose? Someone told me that POP is used most of the time but he's not sure if it's different on Macs. I use OS X. Can anyone tell me which one I need to use?
