After updating to 10.3.9 i am no longer able to launch limewire. I am running the current version 4.8.1. It will bounce 3 times and just close out. Any help would be appreciated.

That said, with any third-party app, you'll likely have to wait for an update to resolve any issues.

limeware works for me... but im using an older version of limeware

Some people mentioned Java problems till they re-installed the security update. Look up those threads and see if that works for you. (Limewire is a Java app)

Now, back on topic with a way to verify/check to see if you need to fix:

Open Terminal and type java -version

If it comes back "segmentation fault," you'll need to download and re-apply Security Update 2005-002.
