Playback of HD DVDs authored in DVD Studio Pro 4 requires a PowerPC G5 processor, Mac OS X v10.4 and Apple DVD Player 4.6 (or later)

didn't we already know that playback of pixlet/other advanced MPEG4 HD streams would require a G5?

According to Apple, Pixlet HD playback works on my TiBook.

Last year H.264 HD playback required a dual G5 2.0. It seems Apple has gotten H.264 decoding optimized enough to get it to work on an iMac G5 1.8 (but not a dual G4 1.42).
