I'm using Word v. X and typing Korean does not work very well. Does anyone know why or how to fix it? I need it to type for my Korean class.

Does it work on Word 2004?

I can't way for sure whether Korean will work in Word 2004 or not. I'd be surprised if it didn't, but Microsoft uses their own type engine, so you never know.

I'm certain, though, that Korean will work in Pages, Apple's new word processor (and a component of iWork).

Also consider other Word-compatible programs like Nisus or Mellel.

As long as we're talking about alternatives, all native OS X text input methods, including Korean, work in NeoOffice/J.

Yesssssssss, NeoOffice does Korean perfectly. I can even save it in a Word file. However, all the korean words don't show up in Word. Thanks a lot! Anyone know if Korean works on Word 2004?

Office v.X had essentially no non-Latin support. Office 2004, to my recollection, works with pretty much everything but right-to-left languages.

Though what I was typing was no doubt gibberish, I can confirm that Word 2004 supports Hangul typing just fine.
