The only reason I use Explorer anymore is because it's the only browser I know of that can do just that. I have it set so when I click on a Jpeg on a web-page, it automatically opens in Preview, while saving it to the desired download folder.

With Safari and Netscape, it keeps opening the Jpeg in a new window!

That said, with the in-app mail featur, I still regard Netscape as the best browser out there.
(I think Mail is stupid compared to Netscape!)

Netscape feels so old these days.

If you go to Tiger, Safari 2.0 will allow one-click saving as you ask for. Don't know if it's enabled in Safari 1.3.

Also, better integration with Mail in Safari, so what you want is coming in less than two weeks.

Thanks Randman for the quick reply. I'll read up on the new Safari.
I just put up another ? about file transfers between distances if you know anything about that!
