Here is some fine print that kinda sucks for those without G5s our dual G4s:

"Initiating a multiway video conference requires a G5 or dual 1GHz or faster G4 processor and 384-Kbps or faster broadband access. Participating in a multiway video conference and initiating a six-person multiway audio conference both require a G5, 1GHz G4 or dual 800MHz or faster G4 processor and 100-Kbps or faster broadband access."

Something Steve did not mention at the Keynote.

Now, my question is:

Will I still get better image quality on iChat even with my lowly 1.5ghz G4 Powerbook?

It is a rather confusing statement, at least for me.

The bottom chart on the page is easier to understand I think.

That is a good chart. Wonder what the requirements are for a 3-way video chat? It would be nice to know.

I'm glad I bought that 1 GHz TiBook when everyone was telling me 867 MHz would be good enough.
