Does anyone know of a GOOD public jabber server that supports yahoo/msn/file transfer?


Is it possible (and a good idea?) to run one locally on your computer just for yourself?





curious to use jabber on the upcoming iChat for talking with Yahoo Messenger.

Not hard to find, since jabber.org has a list.

Have you actually tried checking that list?

Most that are in english do not work anymore and/or don't give out accounts anymore.



Anyone with more info. about GOOD public jabber servers?
