hi, my itune in i book G4 just don't work properly recently, the issue is :
it can read and play music from CD inserted, but while i copy the disc to i tune library, error message arise " you don't have enough access privileges for this operation" , what is this and how to fix it ....., it works perfectly alright before. also , while i inserted the same disc to another i book, it works perfectly too.

Have you tried using Disk Utility (/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility) to repair permission?

You're a little light on the details here...

benz, open Terminal and enter the following line:

sudo diskutil repairPermissions /

Hit enter, type your password when asked and it *should* resolve the issue.
