I am trying to get Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard edition on Mac OS 10.3.9 to recognize a Canon LiDE 20 scanner with a ScanGear CS 7.0X plugin. What I cannot figure out is where to place the plugin and accompanying scanner files for Acrobat to see the scanner and let me select it? I would like to make PDFs in Acrobat directly from the scanner.

When I try using the installer for the scanner plugin it finds the Photoshop Plugins folder and a folder for the CanoScan utility that comes with the scanner, but not Acrobat.

I'm also trying to set up a scanner with Acrobat. There is no plugins folder as there used to be with previous versions of the app.
