Anyone know if this is possible? I realize it's ridiculous, but I'm writing a satire piece and really want to add a footnote to clarify part of an existing footnote. I can't figure out how to do it, if it's even possible.
I haven't found a way to do that. In a few situations I have defined another style that is inset from the footnote itself, then used that with an asterik* as a maker. But it is separate from the footnote numbering, etc.
Ignore the argumentative nature of this poster. He is old and can't engage in meaningful dialog
very long. Therefore, management asks that you at least humor him. Thanks.
