So I have installed Tiger (received a few days early) and have had it running with pretty much zero hitches except for trouble with Firefox. I keep getting the "Application has unexpectedly quit" messages when running Firefox when seemingly the browser has not in fact quit (it is running behind the messages in fact).
It happens throughout the day and even when I leave my computer on over night, I'll walk into some unexpected quit messages for Firefox. Anybody else experiencing something similar? I'm wondering if it is maybe due to the extensions that I have installed or if this is a larger issue.
I'd love to hear other's experiences.

Had that trouble when I initially upgrade.
I deleted firefox, the firefox folder in application support, and the mozilla.firefox.plist file in preferences.
Then I reinstalled firefox in the apps folder and let it recreate new folders and a new profile.
Once it had done that, I quit the app and located my profile folder. I replaced the bookmarks file with the one from my old profile and the cookies.txt file as well in order not to lose my bookmarks or cookies files.

You could also try one of the recent nightly builds.

Thanks I'll give that whirl. It definitely seems to be a little strange though, right?
Its now much harder to resist Safari 2.0, if it wasn't for this Web Developer extension, I'd be using Safari no doubt.

If you want a Mozilla/Gecko browser, why not try Camino?

I was in fact using Camino (actually when it was Chimera) and was more than happy but once again the Web Developer extension and AdBlock are my primary reason for sticking with Firefox at this point.

The latest trunk build of Firefox works fine for me. But Thunderbird is kinda messed up.

Camino would be great if it had extensions. Until it does it's barely worth mention, in my opinion.

I'm not even that extreme. I'm pretty sure I could live just fine if I only had the a web developer type extension for either Safari or Camino.
Until then, I'll be using Firefox because it speeds up development so much for me.

I've been using the G4-optimized nightlies for months now, and they are just awesome in so many ways. I never noticed any problems with Tiger compatability.
