Is this worth doing ?

I tried to see what it was like and the import is glacially slow --- like its going through 1 message per second and I have some 40,000 messages.

Then when I try and look at some of the messages they are all unread -- surely its possible
to mark them read as they are being imported (they are marked read in eudora).

Finally when I click on a folder of say a few 100 messages it shows them and then if I come back to that folder it is doing something -- there is a clock icon next to it instead of the icon showing the number of messages. It seems to be slow to finish what it is doing and let me look at the contents.

Note I am on POP not IMAP and this is a local folder of messages.

So maybe I should just stick with Eudora ? I like the integration of Mail into Services and such.

Thanks - Michael
