anybody notice that it takes forever to get to a site when you just type in the name? Ex. you type in "yahoo" into the address bar, it usually fills in the www. and .com

In Safari 2.0 it takes a very long time. Whats up with that? Can I change any options to make it faster?

Whoa, that does indeed take a long time...never noticed that before now! Not sure you can do anything about it though.

Hmm? It's pretty much instant here. Not much slower to load than if I had typed the full URL (and in the end a lot faster since I didn't have to type it all out).

yeah..... i either get that, or it simply wont find a site. like this one for instance. it's not like i'm trying to go someplace exotic. it's getting really annoying.
