Since installing Tiger, my bank's .qfx WEB CONNECT files are not being processed automatically and so can not be imported into Quicken. Anyone had any luck?

Thanks.

I haven't had problems with web connect, but I can't seem to download my statements directly from my credit card company. Quicken logs in, but when I type my password the OK button remains greyed out. Anybody else have problems with Quicken and Tiger, or know of solutions?

If you're running Quicken Deluxe 2000, your online functions may no longer be supported. I, by chance, checked a long-forgotten e-mail address and had rather recent e-mail from Quicken telling me my now 5-year-old software would no longer be supported and all online functions would cease to work as of some date (Maybe 5/1/05?). Of course, the plug to update to the latest version of Quicken for "Only $79" was there.

So I "upgraded" to Checkbook (check VersionTracker). For just $15, I got a program that's not nearly as bloated, is far more OS X-like looks-wise and does all I need it to do.

Funny, you "upgraded" to a program that doesn't and will never support "your online functions." I'd call that a side-grade at best.

Quicken has been the best accounting app. Sure it has some issues and doesn't do everything the windows version does, but over-all it kicks loads of ass for me. The online stuff is priceless.

Quicken is an app that has caused me much pain. It has more issues than you can shake a stick at. Consider an upgrade to moneydance (http://www.moneydance.com). I have switched and have never been happier. The fact that I can actually get HELP from the developer is a huge plus in my eyes, and that fact the app is written in Java and the SAME version runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux is a huge plus, becuase you can read your data file on any OS.
