Has anyone noticed any problem with corruption and/or crashing using MSWord 2004 AFTER installing Tiger? There's a report on MacFixIt as such, and the recommended fix is to uninstall MS Office BEFORE installing Tiger, and then re-install it after installing Tiger to avoid corruption. Well, too late for me. I'm wondering if I uninstall Office and reinstall it now, would that work?...

I too saw that MFI report, and like you, am now wondering what to do.

I have only had Tiger installed (via Archive & Install) for two days, but so far, no Word problems on my DP/800.

For now, I'll just continue to wait & see...

If it makes you feel better I have problems with Word 2004 and OS 10.3.9 on both of my computers. Whenever I have two audio notebook documents open and the one in the background is playing if I click the red x to close the front window Word crashes.

I am buying tiger today, I'll post here if I notice anything out of the ordinary.
