Imovie HD problem..I can't load my file...Please help!

	I'm having serious problems opening/loading my Imovie HD file.... Ok, when i try to open the file....It starts to load, then says "loading "file name" movie, and it says time remaining....It stays like this until Imovie HD won't respond which then i have to force quit.....I have to do this process at least 10 times before the file can ever open....The only thing i did was extract audio, the file got stuck and i had to force quite... What could the problem possibly be????? Any help would be appreciated...It is driving me crazy...
