I want to get assignable hot widgets so I can use commonly pressed key strokes for some apps. Example F11-8. Is there one around yet ? If not how could I make one ? I know widgets are html pages and java script, so I would need sometjhing like : On press send this.... Or <a href = ... >

Well, if the command you want is in a menu (but doesn't have a shortcut key), you know you can add keyboard shortcuts in the Keyboard prefpane, yes?
Otherwise, I hear iKey is where it's at.

No I really just want a dot just like the expose dot but I want more than one and I want to be able to quickly asign the dot a keystroke, simple as that. I can then change it when ever I want. and make more from dashboard. Cant get any simpler than that

I am not understanding. Dots with keystrokes? What does this do?

http://www.isophonic.net/applications/ look at blobby. It is a blue circle that when pressed preforms expose applications windows default F10. It floats over all other windows even DVD. It works perfectly in tiger, it saves time and space and is just cool. So I wished 10.3 had more but no one ever figured out how to make more. Now dashboard brings to the table the power to do this.

But in order to bring up Dashboard, you have to push an Expose key, so there's really no point in having an Expose widget. So basically you just want to assign multiple hotkeys to the same Expose function?

Dashboard widgets can reemain on the screen without the presence of dashboard. Click and drag them out of the dashboard menu, and also there is an app that lets you control them without dashboard... soooo it is there and is really simple for use, each will just hold one shortcut command... simple peasy. Now I just need to figure out how to code it, anyone else have clues?
