My main problem with iTunes is that it regards 1 count as 1 listenthrough. The song has to be heard from some point to the end, until iTunes switches the song.

Is it possible to change this? I listen to many songs, but almost never in their complete entirety, thus many songs are not "played" even though they are listened to frequently. Could I change a setting or a preference or some code in iTunes so that it regards something like the moment the song plays as 1 count, or at least 30 seconds of the song playing as 1 count?

I remember reading about this somewhere (sorry, I forgot where...). Someone used a script to accomplish this. I forgot how it works though... =(

Anyways, the way I think about it is:

Create a script that jumps to the end of the current track. Then, assign this script to a keyboard shortcut (I think assigning shortcuts is possible). So next time instead of pressing the next track keyboard shortcut, press the shortcut for the script.

I have no idea how to write a script, but that's the idea I came up with.

Hope that helps at least a little!
