How do I save several PDF files as one?

I have all these PDFs, and many of them I always need to open together (so they are all in the same folder right now)... but I was wondering if there was a way to save them all as one PDF file... I tried opening them all in Preview and then saving but it would only save or print or do whatever to the particular file I was viewing...
Is there an easy, free way of doing this?

You should be able to do this with Automator.

Also on the menu, another recommendation of the chef:
Combine PDFs, as found on versiontracker
