I just switched to Mac and have an iPod. I used my iPod to transfer all of my files to my iMac. When i imported all of my songs into iTunes they were all named the same as they were on my Windows machine, which was a relief, but, i would like to transfer all of my song ratings too because i use My Top Rated playlist pretty reguarly. I tried exporting my library (From my Winblows) and them opened that on my Mac and only like 300 of my songs imported with the ratings, i dont know why the rest didn't. Does anybody have any expierece with this or know of a way i could get all of my song ratings?

I believe the ratings are stored in the 'iTunes 4 Music Library'

Located in something like C\Documents and Setting\user\My Documents\My Music\iTunes

On OS X they would be in ~/users/Music/iTunes/

I have no idea if the files are compatible across platforms.

You could back them both up and try moving it from XP to X.

You might also try zipping the iTunes folder on the PC and placing it in the Music Folder on your Mac. Taht would move all music and other settings.
