I did a quick search and didn't see anyone posting this exact thread. Safari 2.0 seems to be waiting until it downloads the whole page before it loads. I can tell, because if I hit stop and then hit refresh, the page layout loads and the top images are all there, but the bottom ones do not load until after a long period of time, when they all load all at the same time. Does anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

I also experience unstable experience with new Safari. It now also doesn't work with one of my bank site (where previous version works fine). I now use both firefox and Safari for the time being. I hope I don't need to use other browsers very soon.

Code:
defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitResourceTimedLayoutDelay 0.0001
Code:
defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitInitialTimedLayoutDelay 0.25
These terminal commands were used to speed up Safari 1.2x (this is what Safarispeed does btw), but I don't know if they still work under 2.0.
You can still make the favicon-cache read-only though, which improves performance a bit.

Safari 2.0 has started beachballing alot on me lately though, and I've gone back to Camino again.. :/
