Hi,
Anybody know how to stop Safari 2 (Tiger) from printing URL's on webpages?
I print invoices and other information off webpages that I DO NOT want the url to appear on. I have done a search but cannot find how to turn this off.
Anyone got a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah. In the print dialog, choose Safari from the menu and turn off the headers and footers.
It's amazing what 10 seconds of exploring the most likely location will do!

Thanks Tooki,
10 seconds, well you are very efficient aren't you!
I looked at various settings and researched this on the web for about 15mins!
I would have thought PAGE SETUP or Safari Prefs would have been more likely but there you go.
I post on macnn when I need help and I am rarely disappointed but I can do without the sarcasm.
Cheers

Print settings that one might frequently change from print job to print job belong in the the print dialog. In Mac OS X, any application that wishes to provide such options can just add a pane (or more than one, I think) to the menu in the Print dialog, like Safari does.
Settings that one changes only seldom -- like paper size -- are in the page setup. (No other settings belong there.)

Does this also apply to Safari 1.3 under Panther? Because I did as you said, but it doesn't allow me to disable headers/footers.
In Safari 1.3 > File > Print > the 3rd selection box "Copies & Pages" > Safari
The print dialog just lets me select "Print backgrounds."
Am I missing something?
