Is there ANY way, with a Mac to convert a WMA protected music file at all--without Toast? I just spent TWO hours running Windows Media Player through Virtual PC with a Win98 image only to find out that the OS or whater the culprit coudln't find a recordable CD device. This firmly REINFORCES why I HATE Windows!!

Please help.

You could always use the next half hour you would spend finding a solution to your CD-burn problem to take the file to a PC, authorize it and burn it there. On a mac there is no option for a protected WMA file outside VPC that I know of. Good luck. Hope the song is worth it.

Another option: Don't waste any time and buy the song again, this time on your platform of choice. Should be worth the $1.
