I'm connected to our corporate mail server via IMAP, using Apple Mail 2.0.
My account contains a number of mailboxes surely interesting to Windows users, but to me a mere annoyance. Such are Calendar, Contacts, "Deleted Items", Outbox, Public Folders (containing news group stuff I don't use), Sent Items and Trash.
Since Apple Mail provides me with its own Sent Items, Trash and Outbox mailboxes, I would like to get rid of the bunch above.
So what would happen if I right-click for instance "Public Folders" and choose "delete..." and confirm my choice? Will a shared mailbox be deleted from the server for _all_ users, or will the mailbox simply be removed from the scope of my IMAP account?
By the way, it bugs me I can't author an email and save it on the desktop, using it as a frequent used, future e-mail template. Guess I'll have to fire up ole Automator...
