Is it any good? Do any of you all use it? Tell me about it....and does it let you check your Hotmail mail?

Thunderbird is a great email prog. Most of us at work switched to it from Outlook/Outlook Express. Not sure if it's better than Apples Mail on the Mac though. There seams to have been a whole lot of 'inspiration' shared between the two (they both have a 'live filtered' search and spam filters).

Does it allow you to check mail off the hotmail server?

Both Mail and Thunderbird can receive hotmail emails via the use of third party plug-ins.

Does anyone know if Thunderbird will be updated to work with Spotlight? I'm being to wonder if I should switch to Mail.app just to get the full power of Spotlight.
