I haven't really looked at Automater much, but was wondering if it can do the following "action":

1. at a user specified time (ie; 7am) do the following:
2. turn on Bluetooth pairing in Address Book to connect with my T610
3. dial a contact in my address book for x times, until someone picks up or cancels the "action"

Would appreciate all useful input.

Thanks.

I'd say no - AppleScript seems more apt.

However - I'd watch out with automated dialling.

I'm not at my mac right now, I can tell you that it doesn't have any scheduling facilities that I've seen. Maybe you could use iCal for that. Or the new Launchd service?

Sorry, no help what-so-ever.

Automator uses AppleScript as well as Objective-c.

From the Automator developer docs. That said, if Automator can't do it, but AppleScript can. Then Automator could be made to do it.
