When I am using Safari and click on an Amazon.com music sample for Windows Media, Safari tries to use the Quicktime plugin and fails to play the sample. In Firefox, Windows Media Player opens as it should and plays the tune. I have used the third-party pref pane, Default Apps, to set Windows Media Player as the default app for the asf protocol. I have also used the Get Info window in the Finder to set Windows Media as the default app for .asf files. Neither has helped. I don't know what else to do to fix this. Any idea will be appreciated.
