Are they the same (i.e. both just contain the item "Automator Help")?

probably a menubar rendering bug.
I only have 1 help menu, but I know that when I have Microsoft office running, all kinds of odd menubar things happen (duplication of menu extras, etc)
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

Chuckit >> yes, both contain "Automater Help", and that's all.

Kristoff >> I only had the programs you see in the dashbar (w/arrow) running. (finder, safari, ichat, automator)

I had this in a few apps, after I just did an upgrade install. When I did a full reinstall it disappeared.

Can't see it making much difference, still kind of annoying.
I have Mac

I have the same - I'll wager that you've installed a DivX or XVid codec.
