We are looking to upgrade our computers in our School library. We currently have a G3 iMac running OS 9.2.2. We use a product called Alexandria for our Card Catalog software. The only problem, if we upgrade to a new computer, it will cost almost $900 to upgrade Alexandria. Does anyone out there know of any other Card Catalog programs for the Mac?
Thanks

Not sure if you've considered it, but you can always run the card catalog software in "classic mode"

What type of functionality are you looking for? Full check-in/out with student information or just a book database? And you should definitely check and see if the program will run in Classic.

We are looking for full check in/out with student info and fines for over due books. We would also like to track the books the students read to help with a program we use (accelerated reader).
Thanks so far fo all of the suggestions!
