So I was watching G4/TechTV this weekend and on Idols they were talking about Steve Jobs and the history of Apple.

One thing that caught my interest was the mention of the Apple II, and how what made it so successful in the personal and business segments was the spreadsheet software apple put out.

The only thing that keeps me using Microsoft Office and not dumping it is that there's no spreadsheet. When oh when are we goign to get iSpreadsheet?

I don't know, but the need for a spreadsheet is why I keep AppleWorks around.

Mariner Calc is another OS X native spreadsheet. And a whole lot more modern than AppleWorks 6.x.
