I need Windows Media Player to play the streaming media from a Music subscription service to which I subscribe. I have downloaded the most recent version for Mac. When I start the streaming process, it buffers and shows that it is playing. However, there is no sound. I know the sound equipment works well, because I can use iTunes. Any sugestions as to possible reasons for this?

Possible reason:
WMP for Mac cannot play the sound codec

WMP for Mac is crap!

WMP can't play WMP files. Weird and predictable. I think it might partly have to do with DRM as some files do play under WMP using Virtual PC (Windows 2000).
