Since I upgraded to Tiger, I've been having trouble with VLC.

1) It doesn't recognize my TV as a second monitor (In panther I always sent the Fullscreen video to the TV, leaving the desktop for messenger while I ran some movie).

2) It became unstable when exiting fullscreen mode, using my powerbooks screen as primary monitor (tv unplugged).

the TV is perfectly recognized by the OS.

any help is welcome
thx

edit:
- if you pause before exiting fullscreen, it doesn't crash
-also tried looking videolan's download server for some obscure nightly or something that would fix the problem but couldn't find anything.
- tried the same on VLC 0.6.2, same results.
- The following Submenus under video are deactivated: Deinterlace, Subtitles Track, Video Track, Video Device and Post Processing.

Crazy, but it works:

Select the Help menu first, then drag over to the video/audio menu. The previously greyed-out options will now be available.

My name's ...uh... it's a bummer man.

The is a bug in VLC. It used a hack to display those menus properly, but that hack was broken with Tiger. Don't rightly understand the need for the hack in the first place but...

The latest test build of VLC displays the menus properly.

You can get it here:
