Greetings:
I have a m-box hooked up by USB to my ibook 1.33". The software worked great and I was blissfully recording for about two weeks when, after clicking the save button(which opens the pro tool session) I get the "the application has unexspectedly quit, no other applications have been affected". Whats especially weird is that it worked great for two weeks , it will save the session but I won't have the opportunity to record anything because it closes down everytime, it looks like its going to open that at the last second, after everythings loaded, I get that annoying quit thing
This also happened with a dvd burning program I was useing(dvd2onex) than had to get a updated version of it. I contacted both apple and digidesign , both offered no help and yes every application I have is legal.

Try reinstalling protools. Couldn't hurt.

(Disclaimer: I don't run Pro Tools or have an m-box)
Did you try the obvious first response things - repair permissions, trash prefs, run Disk Warrior if you have it, check the net for updates to your m-box drivers & Pro Tools, etc?
Beyond that, not sure. Try to remember if you added/removed any apps recently that might deal with the USB or FireWire ports and take them out of the equation.
You might try searching/posting at the osxaudio.com forums, too.
