The dev. behind newsfire and acquisition has a cool search plugin for safari out. It basically puts google suggest in the safari search bar. It works quite well.

i found it yesterday but i was not home, on my powerbook and it gives me some permission error when i try install it.

i installed it on my imac now and it works nicely. not too eager of how it says "inquisitor" in my search bar though.

Is it using a SIMBL package or APE extension type thing?

Could you explain a little about how that works?

Also, I am slightly disappointed that the new plug-in doesn't continue the old functionality, i.e. live results of search queries in Google search, images and froogle etc.
