Naphtali, thanks for taking the time to post the link. That's what makes this community great: people actually take time to help out others with their issues.
In any case, I actually found that site earlier and submitted a suggestion that Pages includes a way to link to a file- either another Pages file or a Keynote file or whatever. I explained to Apple, that there is great academic potential. To make a "virtual textbook", you have to be able to make links that bring you to the next page or that link you to files of interest, etc. It can be done with HTML, but Pages is much easier to use than HTML. However, it cannot be done right now, because you cannot link to another file. Even if you put things in your webfolder on your hard drive and refer to them as webpages, this will not work if you decide to burn your "virtual textbook" to a disk and use on another mac, or distribute to your classroom, or whatever....
So, anyone who reads this, please feel free to second my request to apple- I think this is a functionality that Pages needs. I hope you agree.
