Analogue to iChat being able to display the current song being played by iTunes, I was wondering if I can extract this info and upload this to my webpage ?
Is this possible, or is iTunes sending secret info to iChat, where as this info cannot be read by other apps?
Additionally it would be fun to export the artwork as well!
Thanks.

I used Kung Tunes for this purpose a few years ago.
[I think you meant analogous, not analogue ]

Yup, Kung Tunes is fantastic. I couldn't get the application itself to work, but the Applescript that came bundled with it provided a much more convenient, customisable and generally quieter way of doing the same thing.

Great! Exactly what I was looking for! took me some time to understand how to get the ftp stuff working, but figured that out: passive ftp works. Thanks a lot!

Got it working but how do I change the search from Google to the iTunes Music Store, which imho is more accurate and more fun to read?
Right now it searches in Google, following this html:
<p><b>^t</b>#a from the album "^a"#a#p by <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=%22^p%22" target="_blank">^p</a>#p
Since I have hardly any clue about html, how do I change this to the iTunes Store?
I tried to change the current
http://www.google.com/search
into
itms://phobos.apple.com/search
and tried
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa
but that doesn't work.
Anyone? Thanks.
