Why is it that whenever I open a Windows Media link in Safari, it opens a page called AOLTemp.html before launching the player?

i used to get this allot before i upgraded my windows media. im guessing when you click a link windows media player requests that file to load some properties or define them into the player.

not sure it is always a blank page 4 me.
