I was looking for a good freeware sudoku app and managed to find iSudoku.

http://oomz.net/iSudoku/index.html

Unfortunately, the developer no longer wants to host a downloadable copy, because he's being all childish about the Intel switch thing. Can somebody here give a working download link? I plan to download it and I could also host it on my web server until the dev regains sense...

I have the program, write me a private message with your email adress and i will send it to you. As i'm going to work now (it's 5:30 a.m. now at my location) it will take some time to reply, i come home about 5:00 p.m. and will send it to you then if i got your email adress.

About distribution, you should read what the author says in the about iSudoku dialog.

Apple lists a free Dashboard widget: http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashb...sudokufun.html

I saw one called MacSudoku on MacUpdate the other day, but it's shareware...

The Apple link points to a widget. That's nice, but the widget is too primitive in the sense that it doesn't allow you to write anything into the fields but the solution. Not enough for serious Sudoku players.
