Hi,
I hope someone can help. I saved an mbox folder on another drive. Now that is the only mail window that I can access even though I can see my last complete working version of Mail in my library. How do I get my last working version to open again instead of just this old mbox? Thanks!!

In Mail, I transfered my inbox message to an archive folder and the messages moved out of the inbox folder yet in the new folder it says zero messages. In Library the mbox file size is 2gigs???

I did the rebuild - nothing. Then I tried importing, still zero messages?

Can an .mbox file be opened or converted with something else?

Try deleting your Mail preference file. It has the path in it to the current mailbox. It should reset everything the next time you launch Mail.
