I must be looking under the wrong heading or something, but I ran a search on "timesheet" and couldn't find any postings on the subject.

I'm hoping that someone knows of a free/low-cost application that will record the amount of time I am spending on a project. I would like something that I can "click into & out of" when I start & finish a project.

This is for some volunteer work that I am doing for a non-profit, so the lower the cost the better, as it's coming out of my own pocket. I've been using Excel, but feel like without the click in & out feature, that I am missing stuff that I do & just forget to enter.

Thanks!

If you use a PDA, try this--I've been using it for a while and it's very simple, no-frills, gets the job done:

If not, check on VersionTracker:

Wow! Thanks for the reply. Timesheet is nice & I do use a PDA. But I was blown away by the second app. OfficeTime is so simple to use & so inexpensive that I had to buy it. I did a search for timesheet apps on apple's website, but this one didn't come up. They all seemed to be $99 & up & were complex. Thanks again for responding.

Sounds like you've got the problem solved, but if not, you could write an applescript that would do that for you. If all you are looking for is something that you could "clock in" and "clock out" and have it track the total amount of time you're spending, applescript could solve that problem in a hurry.

Take a look at BK Task Timer: http://www.bkeeney.com/page5/page0/page0.html

I've been using it for a few years now, and it has been great!
