I would like to have a menu item that once I do clic on it it reveals the upcoming iCal events, is that possible?, does it exist yet?

So far the best option I have found is the widget iCal Events

There is MenuCal which is a replacement for Calendar Clock (a great piece of freeware from the maker of Butler, which unfortunately was bought and is not $20 and not as good!).

I still use a free version of calendar clock. May change to menu cal if I like the look of it!
